The Bazaar of Beverwijk, Europe’s biggest indoor market.

Bazaar of Beverwijk

Since the very first 'Black market' was organized in the former vegetable and flower auction, every weekend some ten-thousand people are moving towards Beverwijk. As of the turbulent start in 1980 the weekend market of Beverwijk grew to be the biggest indoor market of Europe. Every week more than 80,000 trippers come to see the stands. Market traders just for one day or for life. They are standing next to each other in a brotherly way behind the more than 3000 stands and market shops. With an unimaginably great and cheap supply of trade from all over the world. From antique pottery via exotic food, fresh fruit, coquettish cloths, fresh fish to silver seal rings. The sixteen immense market halls are distributed over the Black Market, the grand Bazaar, Computer fair and the Oriental market. In the meantime the total market complex has grown too big to see everything in one day.

Come digging for treasures, rummaging and foraging around on the Black market. Enjoy the stand workers and the street artists. Taste the atmosphere of previous times in the second-hand hall, the foraging barn. Feast on the Flemish fries and fresh coffee on the friendly terraces with live music. Especially for your children there is the Darteldorp. They completely go crazy in the colourful jungle of air cushions, slides, climbing frames and baths of balls. Come and have a look, criticize, choose and buy on the Grand Bazaar. Have yourself inspired by the aromas of the orient. Take advantage of the second-hand bargains on the computer fair. Rest yourself in one of the eating facilities, from Dutch bite to exotic dining. The Bazaar of Beverwijk is opened all year round, nicely indoor. Heated and sheltered from the elements. You are cordially invited to the Bazaar.
