Beverwijk and Wijk aan Zee can be reached excellently by private car
or public transport. Beverwijk is located along the highway A9 and
the public transport guarantees a good accessibility from Amsterdam,
Haarlem and Alkmaar and the further hinterland. With that Beverwijk
and especially Wijk aan Zee is a perfect haven for visits to the
many tourist attractions in the cultural and recreational field
located in the surrounding area.
Wijk aan Zee has 3 entrances to the beach
as shown on the card above. Parking in district to the sea is
normally free and all parking places are on walking distance of
the beach. On hot days the "dorpsweide" will be open the parking
costs will be 2.50 euro for the day.
